Aurora

Aurora
Good afternoon all :)
This afternoon I want to share info about Aurora .
Aurora was formed because the interaction of particles of the earth's athmospheric by charged particles from the sun which is called plasma.
Plasma is a gas particle that has been ionized .
Gas is generally not charged, but as the temperature is very hot in the sun causes the gas particles ionized plasma is formed .
The plasma emitted by the sun in all directions (usually in times of increased solar activity of plasma jet) , then as it approached the Earth's magnetic field (which is concentrated in the north and south poles) .
Then the plasma will be interested to the poles of the earth (this phenomenon is called solar wind) , when meeting with the earth's atmosphere occur particle excitation of electron relaxation so that casting beautiful colors with charged particles emitted by the sun .

Aurora only be seen at the North Pole or South Pole .
Why did only occur in North or South Pole ?
Because of the role magnetic fields . So in the earth's aurora is most common in the area around the north pole and south magnetic poles , are very rare at the equator .
Aurora is the famous Aurora Borealis (in North pole) and Aurora Australis (the South pole) .
This info from me in this afternoon , see yaa in my next post..
