Quadrantids Meteor Shower

Today is the last day in the month of December 2010 .
Doesn't feel tomorrow already entered in 2011 .

This time I will give you the info I think is quite interesting and arguably , this is a revenge for those who can't watch the meteor shower this month .
You know how meteor shower occur ?
Meteor shower occurs  when Earth enters the orbit of the meteor trajectory .
Residual dust, rocks, ice and other particles left by the meteor came in and fell or burned in Earth's atmosphere up to leave a space dust .
Meteor shower will greet the Earth shortly after New Year's Eve from 2010 to 2011 .

On January 1st 2011 , in the morning is the beginning Quadrantids meteor shower .
Because it's still early , generated only a few meteors / hour .
Quadrantids meteor shower occurs in the range of 1 - 5 January .
And on 3 - 4 January is the peak of this meteor .
The origin of these meteors are dust in the comet's trajectory 1490 Y1 / 1385 U1 .
Quadrantids meteor shower can be witnessed by people across  the world , incluiding Indonesia .
Starting just after New Year's Eve , or on Januari 1st 2011 morning until 4 days later .
The right time to watch is at 01.00 till early morning .
Point toward the sky coming from the northeast to be initial height of about 30 degress .
Besides in the month of January that there are 7 meteors showers, such as meteor shower Delta Cancrids (from the consellation Cancer).
The most widely predicted meteor shower occurs in mid-month between July - August .
